Project Overview
Associative has successfully designed, developed, and delivered the GCP Secure AI Pipeline PoC (Proof of Concept). Headquartered in Pune, Maharashtra, Associative is a premier full-service software development firm registered with the Registrar of Firms (ROF), Pune.
This project focused on creating a resilient, scalable, and highly secure cloud foundation on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to orchestrate enterprise-grade Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Large Language Model (LLM) workflows. The primary objective was to demonstrate how organizations can process sensitive corporate data and run advanced AI models inside an isolated, Zero Trust cloud environment with low latency, strict access controls, and end-to-end automation.

1. Requirements Gathering & Architecture Design

Analyzed technical prerequisites, data residency requirements, and security compliances for enterprise AI workloads.

Architected a multi-layer cloud topology on Managed Google Cloud Platform (GCP) incorporating private VPCs, secure subnets, and Zero Trust access policies.

Designed modular API specifications using OpenAPI standards to allow seamless backend integration.
2. Cloud Infrastructure Setup with Infrastructure as Code (IaC)

Built modular, reusable Terraform scripts to provision all GCP resources automatically, ensuring reproducible environments.

Configured isolated Virtual Private Clouds (VPC), private Google Kubernetes Engine (GKE) clusters, and secure cloud storage buckets.

Setup Cloud Key Management Service (Cloud KMS) for envelope encryption of data at rest and in transit.
3. AI & Data Pipeline Engineering

Developed asynchronous, high-throughput microservices using Python and FastAPI.

Integrated enterprise-grade AI frameworks using LangChain and LangGraph for complex prompt chaining and context retrieval.

Implemented Vector Database integrations (Qdrant / Milvus / Pinecone) alongside Redis caching layers for sub-second retrieval-augmented generation (RAG) queries.

Optimized model inference runtimes with PyTorch and vLLM to maximize hardware resource utilization.
4. DevSecOps, IAM & Zero Trust Hardening

Implemented strict Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) via Google Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM).

Built automated container build pipelines using Docker and deployed workloads onto Kubernetes with fine-grained network policies.
