Project Overview

Associative successfully customized and deployed a premium, enterprise-grade astrology platform for our client. The goal was to build a highly scalable, fully developed system that brings major astrology services together in one seamless Web and Mobile interface.

Rejecting cheap and generic ready-made templates, our team delivered a 100% custom-branded product built on true native mobile technologies and responsive web frameworks. A major achievement of this project was engineering the system to operate completely independently of expensive third-party API subscriptions.

Technology Stack

To ensure maximum performance, security, and zero ongoing software licensing costs for the client, the entire platform was built using the latest free and open-source technologies.

Core Features & Modules Developed

Our team successfully integrated a wide range of complex astrological tools and e-commerce functionalities into a single, user-friendly platform:

• Advanced Astrology Calculators: Built-in tools for Free Kundli (birth chart generation), Gun Milan (matchmaking), Rashi, Nakshatra, Lagna, and Surya Rashi calculations.

• Hindu Calendar & Festivals: A dynamic built-in calendar interface spanning 150 years in the past to 200 years in the future, calculating all dates, Tithis, and Nakshatras natively.

• Comprehensive Horoscope Services: Zodiac-based daily, weekly, and monthly guidance, alongside detailed profiles for all 12 Zodiac signs.

• Global Astrology Systems: Support for Western, Chinese, Egyptian, and Mayan astrology, plus life-path Numerology calculators.

• Multilingual Interface: Seamless local translation support for English, Hindi, and Marathi natively on all devices without relying on paid translation services like Google Cloud.

• Astrologer Portal & AstroMall: Complete infrastructure for user authentication, astrologer consultation profiles, and a dedicated product listing and cart system for astrology-related items.

System Architecture & Security

The true power of this project lies in its unified architecture. Associative deployed a central backend REST API that simultaneously serves the React.js web frontend, the Kotlin Android app, and the Swift iOS app. This ensures instant data synchronization across all user devices.

To protect user data and maintain enterprise-level security, we implemented the following controls:

• End-to-End HTTPS encryption across all platforms.

• Secure, stateless authentication using JSON Web Tokens (JWT).

• Strict database retention rules and data minimization for user privacy.

• Comprehensive input sanitization to prevent SQL Injection and XSS attacks.

• Custom rate-limiting on the open-source backend to prevent DDoS attacks.

By leveraging open-source mathematical ephemeris and native backend calculations, Associative successfully saved the client from heavy recurring costs associated with external Panchang and translation API providers.

From initial UI/UX branding setup to final server deployment on robust cloud infrastructure, the project was delivered smoothly within the promised timeline, resulting in a lag-free, premium astrology brand experience across the Web, Google Play Store, and Apple App Store.
