The main goal of this project was to automate and enhance traditional Building Information Modeling workflows using advanced Artificial Intelligence and Computer Vision. By acting as a one-stop shop, Associative handled the entire product lifecycle—from initial custom plugin development to secure cloud deployment. We did not just write code; we engineered market leadership for our client in the highly complex AEC domain.

📋 Key Project Tasks & Responsibilities

To guarantee a highly performant and bug-free solution, our engineering teams divided the project into the following core tasks:

• Custom BIM Automation: Developed custom Revit plugins and end-to-end BIM software tools to automate repetitive architectural drafting and structural calculations.

• AI & Spatial Processing Integration: Implemented advanced Computer Vision to process 3D point-cloud data using Open3D. This allowed the system to automatically recognize building elements and track objects in real-time.

• 3D Web Visualization: Engineered a high-performance interactive browser-based 3D model viewer using WebGL and Three.js, allowing the client to view complex BIM models from anywhere without heavy desktop software.

• Cloud Backend Setup: Set up a secure, multi-tenant cloud architecture on Managed Amazon Web Services (AWS) to store and process heavy BIM files and AI data.

• Rigorous Quality Assurance (QA): Utilized automated testing pipelines to ensure the platform was entirely bug-free and provided a smooth deployment experience.
